Celebrate Independence Day Mountain style. Festivities get started at 9 a.m. with the Firecracker 5K Race. Be sure to stop by the courthouse and register early. The race will be followed by the Annual Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m. on Harrison Ave. The 3rd Annual Lake County Bluegrass Festival will follow the parade on the courthouse lawn with great bluegrass until 6 p.m. You can catch Chris Collins at the Tabor Opera House at 6:30 p.m. then don't miss the AMAZING fireworks display at dusk presented by the Leadville Lions Club. |
